2.5 Groups
The Groups page is used in order to present relevant Items to the User's Roles and Responsibilities. It is an area where the User's most useful content is collated.
The Groups page is divided into two sections:
- Audience Groups
- Applicability Groups.
The Audience Groups section shows any 'People' Groups where the user is a member. These groups may contain Roles or specific people where the Roles are linked to a Person; therefore the Person can view the Group content.
The Applicability Groups section shows the 'People' Groups and for each 'People' Group, the Items related. Applicability Groups bring together the User and any relevant content (Items).
To open Groups:
- Navigate to Main Menu (top of the screen)
- Select the Roles and Responsibilities button
- Select the Groups tab
- Scroll to the bottom of the screen and select “To view all the audience and applicability group information please click here” which then displays the Groups screen shown below.

2.5.2 Group Navigation Tab
The Group Navigation Tab is used in order to present relevant Items to the user. It is an area where the users’ most useful content is collated.
To open Group Navigator:
- Select required Group Navigator (left hand side)
- If required, click on the push pin icon to 'dock' the Navigator
- The plus sign to the left of a section indicates the section contains sub-sections
- Click on the plus sign to expand the section
- Click on the minus sign to collapse the section
- Click on required Section (Items are displayed in the Items grid)
- If required, click on the push pin icon to 'undock' (hide) the Navigator.
