5.6.2 Manage General Options

 

Instance Options – Shows the name given to the AgilityBMS System. If required it can be displayed in the title bar of the Administration Suite and the Visio Overview Add In.


Mandatory Feedback Categories – This can be enabled to ensure that selecting a category when submitting both Item and System Feedback is compulsory.


Company Logo – Used to upload a company specific logo to replace the standard AgilityBMS logo. It can also be defined if this logo will appear in the PDF printed version of Process Maps.


Digest Email – This is used to notify Users of “Items of Interest”, where an “Item of Interest” is defined as either an Item in All Users’ My Documents, an Item added to their My Documents by the User or Item Owner notification when releasing an Item.


Error Digest – This service will periodically send out Emails of recent Agility errors. This will help developers and the support team resolve issues with Agility more efficiently.


To manage General Options:

    1. Navigate to the System Tab
    2. Click the System Options icon (System Options window is displayed, the General Options tab is opened by default)

    1. View/Edit Instance Name (this change will take effect once the Admin Suite has been closed and re-opened by the User)
    2. Show Instance Name in applications:

      • If required select No
      • If required select Yes

    1. View/Edit Feedback Settings (if Mandatory Feedback Categories option is selected, the User will have to select a Feedback Category when submitting Item Feedback or System Feedback).
    2. View/Edit Company Logo

      • Click Browse to change company logo (search window appears)
      • Locate image file on PC (Note that the maximum size of the logo image is 240 x 95 pixels)
      • Click Open (image is displayed in the Preview section)
      • If Show in Process Maps is set to Yes the selected logo will be displayed in printed Process Map PDFs

    1. Digest Emails

      • If required select No
      • If required select Yes
      • Define the Days between digest emails

    1. Error Digest
      • If required select the Enable Error Digest check box
      • If the check box is selected, enter an Email address or Email group for the Error Digest to be sent to
      • If you would like to run the Error Digest Report manually, click the Run Now button
    1. Click OK to save any changes.
