5.5.3 Manage Email Server Connection

 

The Email Server Connection tab contains information which Agility uses to send Emails (for example used for System Feedback).


The Mail Server is the server set up to send Emails for the domain. The System Email Address should be one that is set up and assigned to the user that is entered in the Username field.


To manage Email Server Connection:

    1. Navigate to the System Tab
    2. Click the System Settings icon (warning message is displayed)

    1. View/Edit

      • Mail Server
      • System Email Address – Email address where System Feedback notification Emails will be sent
      • Display Name – Allows to change then AgilityBMS window display name
      • Tick box option for whether the Email Server requires a Username and Password
      • Username (where tick box option for whether the Email Server requires a Username and Password is ticked)
      • Password (where tick box option for whether the Email Server requires a Username and Password is ticked)
      • Where the server requires encrypted mail, select the Requires TLS Encryption check box
      • Override Email – If you wish to override all Emails and have it sent to one Email address (or Email group) only (this feature is useful for running Agility in a test, training or development system). When this feature is utilised, there will be a message displayed at the top of the menu window
      • Suppress Email – If you decide to suppress the sending of all Emails from the system (this feature is useful for running Agility in a test, training or development system).

    1. Click Save if you wish to make further amendments to the System Settings or click Save and Close if you do not wish to make further amendments to the System Settings.
