2.5 Change Types 

 

The Change Types enables the drop down list displayed in the MOC Module for types of Change Requests to be defined, such as People, Process, Equipment, Materials. There is no limit to the number of Change Types that be entered; however, it should be noted that the drop down list needs to be usable therefore careful consideration to the number of Change Types needs to be taken into account.


In addition a Change Type can be disabled from being presented in the drop down list.


The MOC Module settings are only available to System Administrators with MOC Module Privileges.


To manage Change Types:


  1. Navigate to the Modules Tab
  2. Click the MOC Settings icon (warning message is displayed)

To manage Change Types:


  1. Select Add
  2. Enter a Title for the Change Type
  3. Ensure that Enabled is ticked
  4. If further Change Types are to be added then repeat steps 1-3
  5. To disable an existing Change Type the select the appropriate Change Type
  6. Ensure that Enabled is unticked
  7. A Change Type can be deleted from the list; however, this can be done if the Change Type has not been used
  8. To delete a Change Type select the appropriate Change Type and press Delete
  9. Select Save if you are making more MOC Module settings changes
  10. Select Save and Close if you finished making MOC Module settings changes
  11. Select Cancel to exit without saving.
