2.2 General Options 

 

The General Options enables:

  • The titles for the various roles within MOC to be configured
  • The numbering prefixes for Change Requests and Actions to be defined
  • Whether confidential MOC Records are displayed on the MOC Register or not (this is not Users not involved in the confidential MOC)


The MOC Module settings are only available to System Administrators with MOC Module Privileges.


To manage General Options:


  1. Navigate to the Modules Tab
  2. Click the MOC Settings icon (warning message is displayed)

To manage Role Name Options:

  1. Enter in the new role name for Collaborator Title(This is the person or in most cases persons that are requested by the Coordinator to review the Change Request and provide comments and ultimately to vote on whether the Change Request should go forward or not)
  2. Enter in the new role name for Coordinator Title(this is the person responsible for initial review of the MOC/Change Request)
  3. Enter in the new role name for Owner Title (this is the MOC/Change Request Owner; there can only be a single Owner for a Change Request)
  4. Enter in the new role name for Action Owner Title (This is the person that will be nominated by the Change Request Owner who will manage the Change Request Action as it progresses; there can only be a single Owner for a Change Request Action)
  5. Select Save if you are making more MOC Module settings changes
  6. Select Save and Close if you finished making MOC Module settings changes
  7. Select Cancel to exit without saving.


To manage Number Prefix Options:

  1. Enter the prefix required for Change Request Numbers (the number format will be MOC-XXXX-0001, with the XXXX being the configurable prefix, which is limited to 10 characters)
  2. Enter the prefix required for Change Request Action Numbers (the number format will be MOC-ACT-XXXX-0001, with the XXXX being the configurable prefix, which is limited to 10 characters)
  3. Select Save if you are making more MOC Module settings changes
  4. Select Save and Close if you finished making MOC Module settings changes
  5. Select Cancel to exit without saving.


To manage Confidentiality Settings:

  1. You can define whether or not confidential MOC Records are displayed on the MOC Register or not (this is not Users not involved in the confidential MOC).This can be set to Yes or No
  2. Select Save if you are making more MOC Module settings changes
  3. Select Save and Close if you finished making MOC Module settings changes
  4. Select Cancel to exit without saving.
