5.6.8 Search Type Settings

 

There are two allows areas where configuration can be defined; which are as follows:


Advanced Search Item Types – these are available in the User Suite in search options screen drop down list; where a client does not use any Item or Items then these can be removed from the drop down.


Quick Search Item Types – these are available in the User Suite in quick search drop down list; where a client does not use any Item or Items then these can be removed from the drop down.


To manage the Advanced Search Item Types:

    1. Navigate to the System Tab
    2. Click the System Options icon (System Options window is displayed, general options tab is opened by default)
    3. Click Search Type Settings tab (the default screen is the Advanced Search Types)

    1. Tick Items to select those to display in the User Suite; remove the tick to deselect items
    2. Click OK.


To manage the Quick Search Item Types:

    1. Navigate to the System Tab
    2. Click the System Options icon (System Options window is displayed, general options tab is opened by default)
    3. Click Search Type Settings tab (the default screen is the Advanced Search Types)
    4. Select Quick Search Types from the drop down list
